Dave works alongside Ed Brown and Meryl Silverburgh in the Vice unit at BCPD, and he's either a lousy shot, or intentionally shoots only to disarm/disable at the target range. He's very loyal to Ed, though, and volunteers to help Jonathan's investigation.

Going by his desk, he's a fan of Godzilla - there's a little model of him tucked away, which Dave really doesn't want you touching. Despite being born on Beyond Coast, Dave is completely fixated on Earth, and wears a 'Home' T-shirt to show it. He's rarely seen without food in his hands... and, now I come to think of it, he looks almost as if he's cosplaying Marty McFly from Back to the Future... The goggles are a rather silly affectation.
