This has been the least-frequently updated page of my site, but I hope to be adding more to it this year. That having been said, I hope to add more to lots of the site, but I'm not sure what I'll add or when. I guess if I come across any new and interesting sites, I'll find the time to add them here... it doesn't take that long, after all...

| Ghasts'n Ghouls | Ghasts'n Ghouls: Siege Perilous - Both a catalogue of work on another sequel to Capcom's seminal "Ghosts'n Goblins", and a shrine to the power of the original to inspire such work. Excellent - hand-drawn - artwork throughout, and lots of odd little notes about various things - just detailed enough to keep it interesting without giving too much away. I only wish some of my game designs had got as far as this one! |

It's a webring. It's full of sites that have something to do with the Sam Coupé. Clear? I'm not actually a member yet, 'cos my site has very little Sam-related content... soon, though... (bwah-hah-haaaa!) |
| home to all sorts of nostalgic wibblings, including Arcade and Console emulation, pages dedicated to specific games. Go there now - there's got to be an old game you'd like to become reaquainted with. | |
| Hamster Republic | Home of the Hamster Republic RPG Maker, and quite a lot of other stuff. Very strange site, but worth a look. |
| Pocket Quake | Yes, it's true: If you have a palmtop, you can play Quake... and even Quake 2!! I have it running on my slightly underpowered HP Jornada 720, and it's pretty darned good. Hosted by PocketMatrix, for all your Palmtop gaming needs. |
| Pocket Gamer | An online magazine for Palmtop users. It's amazing what these little PDAs can do these days! |
| Fasco-CS |
Home of the 'room' games by
Toshimitsu Takagi, as well as the endearingly bonkers 'Smile Ninja
Picomaru'. Excellent, if a little obscure, these flash games are among
the best you'll find on the 'net. |
| Entertainment | |
| LAUNCH | A rather excellent site from Yahoo! containing all sorts of music stuff. News, interviews, etc. along with a huge collection of music videos. Best suited to those with Broadband or ISDN connections, but very good all the same. |
| Shockwave/Atom Films | Shockwave is a site full of cool flash animations and games, Atom Films is an associate site with strange and entertaining streaming videos available as Windows Media, Realplayer and occasionally Quicktime. |
| Empire Online UK | Full of all kinds of movie news and a good selection of trailers. Easy to navigate, too, and it doesn't put the movies into flakey Javascripted windows, which makes a pleasant change. |
| TV-Nihon | Specialists in doing excellent fan-subbed Japanese TV shows. The highlight for me at the moment is 'Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon', a live-action retelling of the Sailor Moon legends. Variously described (by me) as "Power Rangers with lip-gloss and high heels" and "Candyfloss for the soul", it's a wild, wacky, cheesy, and downright fun piece of television. Evil Queen Beryl may have a terrible name, but she's a damned sexy villain. My favourite has to be Sailor Jupiter, though. Dammit, it's the Spice Girls all over again! |
| Alabama 3 | The band behind the theme to The Sopranos and so much more. It's a very curious site... not like your usual band-related thing. |
| Fields of the Nephilim | The official site, now that the old unofficial site has been removed. Like a lot of official band sites, this will probably be very slow to get up and running, but it should be prety good when it's there. |
| Foetus | J.G. Thirlwell's odd little music project which used to have a new name for each album, but now appears to have settled on Foetus. Excellent recorded, uncompromising and downright fun live. The website's pretty simple. |
| Gorillaz | Yeah, the cartoon band. They're cool. The site is a Flash Extravaganza, so be prepared to long loading times. It's worth a look, though, and some of the downloads are downright cool. |
| Mediaeval Baebes | The Baebes are, quite frankly, the best thing to happen to mediaeval music in centuries. Find out why. Now. |
| Pitchshifter.com | With the album 'Deviant', PS seem to have bought into their own hype... the site's pretty good, and contains more than the usual band site, including their recommended reading list... |
| The Sisters of Mercy | The Eldritch One uses the internet to prove to the world that TSoM are Industrial, not Goth. I very simple site, and all the better for it. Once it's got more stuff online, it should be great. Right now, it's a good laugh, but light on information. |
| Cinescape.com | One of the best places to go for movie and TV news. At least, that's what several UK tabloids seem to think, as stories from Cinescape often turn up in the 'papers. This is the internet counterpart of Cinescape magazine, oddly enough. |
| Marvel Comics | ...As is the offical Marvel Comics website. It's gone through hundreds of revisions, and currently looks quite clean and simple. Loads of stuff here, too much to mention, just look! |
| The Onion | America's Finest News Source(TM) - Not entirely serious, but occasionally quite insightful. |
| Eversummer Eve | An excellent webcomic, which seems to be progressing nicely. The art is pretty much faultless. |
| KeenSpace | An amazing hub-site for hundreds of webcomics by amateur artists and writers. Some are terrible, but there are some real gems in there, just waiting to be found. |
| Ill Will Press | Find out exactly how much fun a Goth chick named Germaine can have with Foamy, her pet squirrel, in 'Neurotically Yours'... and then buy the t-shirt. It's the cream cheese! The creamy, creamy, creamy, creamy, cheesy, cheesy cream! |

| School Disco | What started out as a cute little
club in Vauxhall has become big business, and thereby lost its soul. Ah
well... |
| Anne Bishop | Author of the Black Jewels Trilogy, an excellent series of Fantasy Fiction. The website is nice and simple, and her biography is very cute. Look out for her work! |
| William Gibson Books | Website of the author behind that whole Cyberpunk thing. |

Eric Schwartz's home page, home to Amy Squirrel, Sabrina On-Line and MORE!!! |
| BIGBOT.COM | When I was younger, I loved Transformers. I was almost surprised (but not quite) to find that they have a huge following even today, with newer ranges like Beast Wars, Robots In Disguise, and the seemingly Pokemon-inspired Armada ("Minicons - Gotta Catch 'Em All!"). |
| Memorabilia | A great big entertainments
convention up at the NEC in Birmingham. With everything from film and
TV to sports, loads of guest speakers and even more signing stuff and
chatting with fans, and aisle upon aisle of cool things to buy,
Memorabilia is how these things should be. Hell, they even had a
Cosplay competition. Seemed a little Star Wars heavy, but there are
plenty of Star Wars fans out there. |
| Auto Assembley | The annual TransFormers
convention. Been there once, hoping to go again... ;) |
| Remy's TransFormers | Remy has a very well-presented website and a huge collection of very well-photographed Transformers. Most of the Armada and Energon lines look pretty garish and crappy (with some exceptions), but the collection is no less impressive because of this. Also look into the Custom TFs section, for home-made variants and retools of existing models. |
| TF@The Moon | A UK-based news resource for all things TransFormers. Parts of the gallery don't seem to work, and some of the presentation is a little ropey, but some good pictures, and up-to-the-minute information more than make up for it. |
| TheTransformers.net | Another TF Website... |
| The Weekly | Seems to be on haitus again, but that could easily change before I next update this page. An amazing site, full of wonderous wordplay and very British humour. |
| Family, Friends and Acquaintances | |

My sister's homepage. Certainly not as extensive as mine <grin>, but it took me ages to convince her to do anything in the first place. Largely made up of her sermons (which I often help with, often at around midnight on the Saturday before she was to deliver it), there's going to be some of her creative writing and even (shock!) a 'Who Am I?' section! |
| Nall's Cave of Lunar Stuff | Dedicated to the Lunar series of RPGs, this is a very nice looking site run by Nall, who sent me some Policenauts questions. |
| Commodore Apocalypse, run by the guy who wrote the original C64 version of Reckless Rufus. Download a selection of the best games, demos and images, and link to loads of other sites along the same lines. CA is very well presented, very clear and easily navigated. Shame it's a C64 site ;-) | |
| Business | |
| Skin Two | Yup, the fetishwear people. I bought a couple of T-shirts from them, so I feel kind of obliged to link to them. They're incredibly helpful to people who, like me, are 'unusually sized'. |
| House of Harlot | Pretty much the same type of thing as Skin Two, but different. Also based in London, and with some interesting stock, but I haven't bought anything from them... yet. |
| National Console Support | Sounds like some kind of 'Obsessive Gamers Anonymous' group, but they're actually another great place to buy import games. Enormous range, but the site only seems to work properly under Internet Explorer. |
| Next Gen | As above, more or less, but based in the UK. Consequently, they're more expensive and have a smaller selection in stock. Delivery is much cheaper, though! |
| Crucial Technology Europe | They are the memory experts. They have just about every kind of memory you might need, and at excellent prices, because they make their own stuff. |

Otaku Publishing stock literally thousands of things to do with Japanese books, comics cartoons and games, not to mention some stuff in English. If they don't have what you're after in stock, they may be able to get it. Reasonable prices, too! |
| AnimeNation | Kind of a US equivalent of Otaku - one of many, in fact. I ordered the new Capcom art book from them and, although they didn't have it in stock before Christmas, it was only a matter of days into the New Year before I'd received it... But then, they're a Yahoo! Store, so they should be good. |
| 2nd Star | UK-Based online store covering
TransFormers Galaxy Force and other ranges at reasonable prices. Very
elegant site. |
| XyberToys | Another online retailer of
TransFormers (and other Japanese ranges). Free shipping, but slightly
higher prices. Excellent service compensates for that, as does the
availability of some of the limited editions. A great place to shop! |
| Funkyzilla | UK-Based onlike store full of
strange Japanese toys. And TransFormers. Interesting selection,
including some which can be hard to find. |
| Gundam Mad | UK-Based online store which carries a steadily-expanding range on MS Gundam model kits and DVDs. |
| Mech-A | UK-Based online store specialising in all kinds of Mecha |
| Whole Earth Foods | Purveyors of fine organic foodstuffs, including the rather yummy Organic Cola, made with real fruit juices, sparkling mineral water, and extract of Cola nut. It's a nice, clean site, much in keeping with the image of simple, organic produce. While you can't buy online direct from them, they do carry links to other suppliers in London. |
| Cybercandy |
Purveyors of sweets from around
the globe. Lots of American stuff which you just know is going to be
very, very bad for you... but which will taste soooooooo good. Consider it the
opposite of Whole Earth Foods ;) |
| Miscellany | |
| Web Pages That Suck | From the people who brought the world the book 'Web Pages That Suck', here's the web site. Naturally, it doesn't suck except for the purposes of example. |
| H. R. Giger.com | Oh, yes! The man hisself has a web site. Probably not as heavy on the graphics as you might hope. How's he going to get you to buy his books otherwise? |
