30th Anniversary Micro Action Series

It was probably inevitable that I'd own a small collection of thing which started life the same year I did. The surprise is that, while the items shown below are all very recent - released by Takara during 2004 - I do have (somewhere) another small collection of Microman-based toys, named 'Micronauts' and hailing from 1976-1981, which may eventually find their way up here. If I can find them.

I'm not even going to try to give a history of Microman figures. It's all been done much better elsewhere (MicroForever.com for example) so all I shall say is that they are Action Figures by the truest definition. With up to 30 points of articulation and good, solid joints, these things can adopt any pose your imagination can conjure. Maybe not as posable as the human body, but certainly very close... and much closer than the average 'Action Figure' from US-based companies.
